About Me

Creative Cinematographer and Videographer

I have always loved photography and the art of filmmaking. I graduated from San Diego State University with a Bachelor of Science in television and film. While attending SDSU, my emphasis was in cinematography. Vittorio Storaro, Gordon Wills, and Bill Pope are just few of the cinematographers that I admire. I have been working in the film industry for 15 years, which has refined my skills of film etiquette. I place high importance on creating beautiful images that are thought provoking and unique.

I have a great passion for the art of filmaking. I also love watching movies and it helps drive that passion. My philosophy is; I don’t have shoot to have a close-up, or a wide, or something well lit. I shoots to tell the story. I am passionate about finding new ways to move the camera and new places to put it based on the narrative. I absolutely love science-fiction and comedies, but I’m interested in any story that grabs my attention no matter what the genre.

Cinematography is not just what it looks like and feels like. Cinematography is the art of motion.

“Each moment of the day creates a different mood that affects the look of the world around us and how we feel, think, even behave.” Vittorio Storaro
